Hi! Do you know what a Disciple is? Many people think there is a difference between the words disciple and Christian. Disciple is a translation of the Greek word "Talmid". This means learner, or even better, follower. In Acts 11:26 it tells us in Antioch " The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." The word Christian meant "Little Christs" and was used by the Greeks to belittle the Disciples. The disciples liked it because they were recognized by people as trying to live like Jesus. True disciples Imitate Jesus! It's what we are called to do. In all areas of our life! 1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. 1 Corinthians 11:1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. 1 Peter 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
